Pictures of the kids

Random Pictures of the kids from over the last few months!

Long over due updates!!!!

I know it's been a really long time since we posted any news about the kids on here so there is lots to update. Ava began walking in October and has been a little terror ever since, getting into EVERYTHING!!!! She is so cute though when she walks!! She now has five teeth. We thought she was never going to get any, but the first one appeared and they have been coming in ever since. She likes to say hi, hey, tries to say kitty, and waves bye bye. Dancing is one of her favorite things to do. She really likes hard rock for some reason. She and the cat get along great now and she hugs and kisses him often. Ava likes to climb on the couch and sit down with us at night. She has begun to pucker her lips to give us kisses and loves to hug Cristian. Her one year appointment went really well. She was around 31 inches tall and weighed 19.5 pounds. She is very petite, but at least is on the growth charts. Her hair is still blond and is growing. She likes to have her hair put in a little ponytail on top of her head because is keeps her hair out of her eyes. She plays with it almost all day.

Cristian is busy playing hockey. He started skating the day after our soccer party for the end of the season. He has scored 3 goals playing one on one during practice. During a game the other night at practice, he scored his first goal while playing defense. He was very happy about that!! School is going very well for him and he really enjoys the computer lab, coloring in class, and going to the library. His growth is on the opposite end of Ava. He is tall with a huskier build.

Both kids had birthday parties. Ava really liked her cake!!!

We spent Thanksgiving in Trego with Jay. Mandy, Dan, and Jay all went hunting and Dan was the only one who ended up with a small doe.

For Christmas we went to Forest Lake. We opened gifts and had dinner there. Then we drove back to Hayward on Christmas day and opened the presents Santa had left here for the kids.
